David Cox is an accomplished international law enforcement leader with more than 18 years of experience addressing serious and organised crime, protecting vulnerable communities, and leading intelligence-led operations in complex global environments.

A PIP3-qualified Senior Investigating Officer and IPP Accredited Intelligence Manager, David has held senior leadership positions within the UK National Crime Agency, regional Special Operations Units, and local police forces. He has directed multi-agency operations, led high-impact investigations, and advised government at the highest levels, including the Prime Minister’s Office.

David has extensive operational experience in sensitive and high-risk environments, deploying internationally to support capability building, humanitarian operations, and crisis response. An expert in strategic risk management, crisis command, and international intelligence sharing, David is recognised for his ability to navigate complex geopolitical landscapes and build strong partnerships
with law enforcement, governments, and NGOs worldwide.

As Regional Lead for Africa at SJ Group International, David oversees the company’s strategic and operational initiatives across the continent.
